With a lebanese background and having traveled extensively in this country, I have olfactory and gustatory memories of the country.
I remember walking through the city and smelling the wet asphalt passing by an «oven» where they bake Man’ouché, continuin to walk and getting a strong smell of jasmine. Being born in France and being used to eat specific food like cheese or desserts with strong taste let me have olfactory and gustatory memories of the country.
